In the Pacific Northwest, forestry and farming equipment often face "hydroscopic" stress—where moisture from our humid environment enters the reservoir. Standard tractor fluids can "slug out," where water separates and causes pump cavitation. PowerTran® XP is engineered with a specific treat rate of emulsifiers that keep moisture in suspension so it can be carried to the filter or evaporated off, rather than pooling at the bottom of the case and causing rust on the final drive gears. Additionally, if you're diagnosing a "screeching" sound during braking on a John Deere or Case unit, it’s often due to the breakdown of friction modifiers. PowerTran XP’s synthetic-blend chemistry provides a much higher "Static-to-Dynamic" friction ratio, which stabilizes the brake plates and eliminates the vibration that causes that chatter.
