POWERDRIVE® FLUID

THE INDUSTRY STANDARD FOR HEAVY-DUTY FRICTION AND WEAR CONTROL.

Close

When the job calls for a strict Caterpillar TO-4 or Allison C-4 spec, this is the fluid that keeps the gears turning. Designed to optimize the life of friction materials in powershift transmissions and wet brakes, Powerdrive prevents the glazing and "chatter" that kills productivity. It’s the essential drivetrain fluid for any serious off-road or construction operation.

PRODUCT RESOURCES

PERFORMANCE

  • Specifically tuned to eliminate "chatter" and noise in heavy-duty wet brake systems.

  • Provides consistent engagement for powershift transmissions and final drive units.

  • Meets industry-standard Caterpillar TO-4 and Allison C-4 performance specifications.

PROTECTION

  • Specifically formulated to protect bronze friction discs and gears from premature wear.

  • Advanced additive package resists the build-up of harmful varnish on transmission parts.

  • Provides a robust lubricating film that handles high-shock loads in construction environments.

UPTIME

  • Excellent oxidation resistance prevents fluid breakdown in high-heat drivetrain systems.

  • Maintains system cleanliness to ensure consistent hydraulic and transmission response.

  • Protects seals and gaskets from hardening and leaking, reducing unplanned repairs.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

  • High-viscosity index base oils provide reliable lubrication in extreme heat.

  • Protects bronze friction discs from glazing to ensure consistent braking.

  • Excellent oxidation resistance prevents fluid thickening in high-heat sumps.

  • Minimizes wear on high-pressure hydraulic pumps and control valves.

  • Provides a durable lubricating film that handles intense shock loading.

APPLICATIONS

Recommended for powershift transmissions, final drives, and wet brakes in off-road equipment from Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Eaton.

MAMMOTH TECHNICAL TIP:

Never mix TO-4 fluids with standard engine oils in a transmission. The friction modifiers are built specifically to prevent clutch glazing; using the wrong fluid will lead to slippage and a costly rebuild.
