APPLICATIONS & OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES
PRESERVATION PROTOCOL: Designed specifically to protect aircraft piston engines from rust and corrosion during extended periods of inactivity.
NOT FOR EVERYDAY USE: This oil is a preservation fluid and lacks the ashless dispersant additives required for frequent flight.
10-HOUR LIMIT: Total engine operation time on this oil should not exceed 10 hours.
OIL TRANSITION: Following storage, this fluid must be drained and replaced with a regular operational engine oil—such as PHILLIPS 66 X/C® 20W-50—before resuming normal flight operations.
MAMMOTH SUPPLEMENT TIP: For aircraft flown infrequently in high-humidity zones, this oil can be used as a supplement. Replace up to 10% of your total crankcase volume with Aviation Anti-Rust Oil to enhance your engine's daily corrosion defense.
